The harp is one of the oldest instruments, with the help of which mankind recorded historical events and deeds of legendary heroes. It also played a role in ritual or social contexts. Another ancient instrument that gained enormous popularity in the past due to its velvety tone and became an integral part of the European musical repertoire is the oboe. The combination of harp and oboe reveals unprecedented color and sound possibilities. The proof is the combination of the mastery of harpist Kateřina Englichová and the charisma of oboist Vilém Veverka.
